Ho Ho Ho.. Santa would say
It’s been a while since my last outfit post, so to make this a special one, I decided to show you my Christmas outfit.
Firstly, a big thank you to Peter Scherb, who has been taking many pictures of me lately. You deserve a medal for your awesome work 🙂
Now let’s start off with the main reason, why we are sitting here together… MERRY CHRISTMAS and a happy new outfit I got there.
Velvet is calling!
I honestly didn’t think that I would be buying anything velvet this year, as I (I apologize in advance) am sick of all this velvet lately. I mean seriously velvet here, velvet there ,velvet EVERY WHERE. Yet, here I am, wearing a velvet dress for Christmas. Typical me I assume 😀
Dress – Pull&Bear (Similar here)
Sweater – Pull&Bear
Shoes – ONLY
BAG – ZARA (similar here)
After typing in the word velvet so many times, I think the only fair thing would be, to share my hate-love realtionship with this fabric to you. Well then. I used to love it. I remember two years ago, I bought a short one-piece for a party all in velvet at pull&bear (it was also my very first time in that store and I loved it straight away) and I was super proud of it. Last year, I also bought a black velvety skirt and after wearing it once, I put it back in my drawer and never touched it again. I don’t know why, I just wasn’t too keen on it. This year anyhow, it’s all you can see. Everybody wears it and you can buy it in any store. Suddenly I velveted myself out, if this is the right way to say it 😀
Coming closer to Christmas and after avoiding this fabric I kind of started liking it again. One day my friend got a big velvety jumper and made me feel it. Puff, I loved it again haha.
On the same day I went into Pull&Bear (I have a thing with velvet and this shop together I think), saw this dress and it was love at first sight. I just had to get it. I didn’t even look at the price tag – I just took my size, tried it on, while listening to my friend telling me what a great dress this is and booom the transaction has been made and it’s in my posession.
Now, here comes the odd part of this weird and probably very useless story. Christmas is over now and I’m sick of velvet again, haha 😀 Don’t ask what’s wrong with me – all I know is, that my dress is going to stay in my closet until at least next christmas.
Ok, this was it, for now. Story time is over and if you read this incredibly interesting post of mine, you are awesome!
Have a lovely evening, day, night or what ever it may be my dear reader
